
Neighborhood Planning Units
The civic associations participate in and make recommendations on zoning and licensing issues to Neighborhood Planning Units (NPUs). The NPUs in District 6 are as follows:
NPU-E (Neighborhood Planning Unit E) - Meets at 7:00 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month at Peachtree Christian Church at 1580 Peachtree Street. (This NPU includes Ansley Park, Sherwood Forest and Midtown) Chairman: Penelope Cheroff.NPU-F (Neighborhood Planning Unit F) - Meets at 7:00 p.m. the third Monday of every month at Hillside Facility, 1301 Monroe Drive, NE. (This NPU includes Morningside/Lenox Park, Virginia- Highland, Atkins Park, Piedmont Heights and Lindridge/Martin Manor). Chairman: Dianne Olansky.
NPU-N (Neighborhood Planning Unit N) – Meets at 7:00 p.m. the fourth Thursday of every month at Little Five Points Community Center, 1083 Austin Ave. (This NPU includes Candler Park, Druid Hills and Ponce Corridor East). Chairwoman: Anna Copello
Atlanta Planning Advisory Board
The Atlanta Planning Advisory Board (APAB) is made up of representatives from the 24 Neighborhood Planning Units (NPUs) and serves the City’s official citizen advisory process. The APAB representatives for the NPUs in District 6 are as follows:
