A city council member has two major tasks: to draft, review, and revise legislation and to provide services to constituents.  No council member could accomplish these tasks without a knowledgeable and dedicated staff. That's exactly what Anne has. Sheila Parrott has extensive previous experience at City Hall and is often thought of as the resident historian on City Council. This not only makes her an invaluable resource for Anne, but to the residents of District 6. If Sheila doesn't already know the answer, she knows where to go to get it. Anne is committed to being fair and objective and she believes the District 6 residents have a team second to none at City Hall.

Sheila Parrott has worked with the Atlanta City Council since 1991 with Councilmembers Barbara Asher, John O'Callaghan and Julia Emmons. Prior to joining the City, she worked for Rich's for 17 years in a number of capacities including as the administrative assistant for the Sr. Vice-President of Ready To Wear and Shoes.  Sheila has two grown children, a Cocker Spaniel, Cheyanne, and a cat, Fye.  When she isn't busy taking care of her three grand children, all girls, the staff of District 6 and the constituents of District 6, you can find Sheila happily tending to her garden
